The Eastwood Centre Redevelopment will transform the existing shopping centre into a vibrant mixed-use heart of the community. It will deliver diverse housing, refreshed retail, and better pedestrian connections – all while honouring and celebrating Eastwood’s multicultural heritage.
With community, cultural celebration and every day liveability at its core, the redevelopment will create a unique, networked neighbourhood that makes Eastwood an even more welcoming and thriving place to live, work and play.
The project will bring real benefits to the local area with much-needed new housing – around 780 well-located homes, including affordable housing – in a highly accessible location just 200 metres from Eastwood Station. It will create more local jobs and support the economy with refreshed retail and commercial space, including supermarkets and varied shops plus flexible spaces for markets, festivals and events that build on Eastwood’s food culture. It will improve walking links across the precinct and provide up to around 7,500 sqm of shared amenity.
